I have a ham radio and wanted to install it in my car for moble operation. I assembled all the needed parts and they installed and powered it up for me. Need clean and quick installation.
Dan, Andy and the rest of the team over at model are simply the best around. These guys go out of their way to help you out and work with you. Super clean work super efficient and punctual ALWAYS. Would highly recommend at all levels of work they do. Thank you guys for all the help dealing with my senso-lock device and remote start. They made a difficult situation no so much as a worry!!
Walked in on a random Tuesday. Part was in stock. They weren't too busy so they pulled the car right in and did the installation in less than an hour. Not too shabby!

I have been a customer for about 2 1/2 yrs. I have a competition sound vehicle with 3 subwoofers and a 20k bass amplifier. They exclusively work on my vehicle since day one. All custom work done on premises. Reasonably priced and excellent customer service. If you go elsewhere, you will be upset at yourself. Model Electronics is the real deal. All workers there are super polite from Dave, Andy, Dan, George, Marc and the Master Installer Bex.

Model Electronics is hands down the best place in Bergen County to get installation of aftermarket and factor accessories done on any vehicle. Their work is clean, professional, and next-level. I recently redid my exhaust system and they did a phenomenal job — the quality, precision, and attention to detail were outstanding. A huge thank you to Andy, George, Dave, and Marc. These guys are knowledgeable, honest, and truly take pride in what they do. From start to finish, the service was seamless and professional. If I could give more than five stars, I would. Picture it: Christmas Eve EVE. I leave the Subaru dealership with new brakes—and a completely dead infotainment system. No radio, no music, no podcasts, and no backup camera. Of course, we were scheduled to leave two days later for a road trip from NJ to FL with our two kids (ages 9 and 11). Panic is an understatement. I called Model Electronics, and Andy immediately said, “Come right in!” He checked the car, confirmed the issue, and—holiday miracle—had two options available on the spot. He kept the car for a few hours and had everything fully installed and working perfectly by the end of the day. At the end of the year, after already spending time and money on car repairs, it’s such a relief to find a great local shop that truly takes care of you. Andy was friendly, understanding, and incredibly helpful. We left feeling taken care of and grateful. Highly recommend Model Electronics—and especially Andy.

Spoke to Andy by phone. Needed my Remote Start re-installed in my Acura RDX because dealer removed the harness to resolve an issue with the sound system and did not want to re-install it. He said no problem and scheduled an appointment for the NEXT day. Harness was re-installed and tested. Everything was working. Was notified to pick up my car and was told No Charge! That's how you do customer service!! I will not hesitate to use this establishment for any upcoming needs and recommend them in the future!
Dan was an absolute pleasure to deal with, made the whole process incredibly easy with great communication and complete transparency!! Will be recommending him to others for sure!
Not my first time there, I’d give them 10 Stars if it was offered. I was quoted a high and a low possibility of a price for the installation of a front and rear camera for my Explorer and to my surprise they charged me the lower price. Besides that, they have a comfortable waiting area and all of their crew were pleasant to deal with.

I had an excellent experience with Model Electronics and can’t recommend them enough. Before I found Dan and the team, I was completely lost trying to figure out all the confusing steps with getting an interlock device and preparing everything for the DMV. Information online is vague and honestly misleading at times. I was recommended a device by Dan that never gave me an issue. Not every brand of IID is made equal, and his advice was spot on. From start to finish, the staff at Model Electronics were incredibly helpful and understanding. They walked me through every detail and made the entire process feel smooth and stress free. I've read many nightmare stories online about dealing with these devices and thanks to the help I received there, i did not have to experience any of that. If you ever find yourself in a similar situation, I strongly recommend giving Model Electronics a call. They made a tough process feel manageable, and I truly appreciate everything they did to help me. Thank you guys again!
Quick, easy, fair, professional & polite, highly recommend. I had a front and rear dash cam installed, and was very happy with the service. Andy was informative and up front about the charges on the phone and in person. I'll be back soon for installation for my other car. Comfy couch and Ace Ventura playing in the waiting room was a plus, thanks a bunch!

Had a pioneer head unit installed in my 2015 Subaru. They could have sold me a much more expensive unit but instead explained what I needed and what would fit best. The radio worked flawlessly for 10 years. This place has been around since forever and there’s a reason. They do great work.
